Gov. Roque leads turnover ceremony of 7 projects to 4 towns

PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON (May 20, 2024) – Governor Rogelio Neil P. Roque presided over the ceremonial handover and acceptance of seven projects to four towns in the province’s southern part

On May 20, 2024, the four towns staged the first of a series of turnover and acceptance ceremonies.
Roque said that the seven projects are part of the province’s 43 infrastructure projects that will be turned over to the recipient localities this year.
Dangcagan, Kibawe, Damulog, and Kadingilan are the recipients of the seven projects, all of which are part of Bukidnon’s third legislative district.
In Dangcagan, the turned-over 1.2 kilometers road improvement project connecting Brgy. Kiangat and Brgy. Mc Arthur is worth P40,788,503.00, while the multi-purpose facility for the youth worth P1,250,021.78 is located in Brgy. Poblacion. The money for the two projects was derived from the province’s 20 percent Development Fund for calendar year 2023.
Mayor Mark Vincent Dandasan of Dangcagan, as well as Kiangat and McArthur barangay officials, attended the ceremony.
Kibawe’s turned-over project was a school building with two classrooms at New Kidapawan Elementary School, costing P2,598,577.37. The budget was drawn from the province’s Special Education Fund for 2023.
Mayor Reynaldo Ang Rabanes of Kibawe, as well as officials and teachers from New Kidapawan ES, saw the project’s transition and acceptance ceremony.
The principal of Macapari National High School in Damulog accepted the Covered Court project worth P4,688,606.57. The allocation was also drawn from the Special Education Fund for 2023.
Mayor Melino Buro of Damulog and other town officials, as well as Macapari NHS school officials, witnessed the event.
Meanwhile, additional projects have been constructed in Kadingilan’s barangays Mabuhay, Kibogtok, and Salvacion.
Kadingilan Mayor Jerry Canoy Jr. joined the barangay leaders in accepting Gov. Roque’s initiatives.
Brgy. Mabuhay accepted a new Covered Court valued at P4,796,717.27 and Brgy. Kibogtok also received a new Covered Court for P4,699,138.04.
Lastly, Brgy. Salvacion received a multi-purpose structure worth P2,997,407.95.
The budget for the three projects was also sourced from the province’s 20 percent Development Fund for calendar year 2023.
Concerned end users and four town mayors thanked the provincial government, through Gov. Roque, for the infrastructure projects they received.
The projects were carried out under the direction of the Provincial Engineers Office (PEO).
Minerva Casinabe, Joseph Palmada, and Benito Baguio, all members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP), attended the activities. (melbmadera)
