MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon (Oct. 6, 2025) – The Provincial Government of Bukidnon, through the diligent efforts of the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO), has successfully completed and handed over 158 out of 335 planned infrastructure projects—encompassing roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems—spanning from September 2024 to September 2025

Funded with a total of ₱2.64 billion, these projects represent more than just brick, concrete, and steel; they signify a tangible investment in the province’s progress and the well-being of its communities. While many initiatives have reached completion, a number of other key projects continue to advance, reflecting the province’s unwavering commitment to sustained development.

At the October Convocation Program, Provincial Engineer Delia E. Damasco highlighted that, beyond these major undertakings, the office also rehabilitated 25 barangay roads—particularly those in hazard-prone areas—utilizing 19 heavy equipment units from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDDRMO-Bukidnon). This initiative underscores the province’s dedication to not only building infrastructure but also safeguarding lives.

Governor Rogelio Neil P. Roque praised the Provincial Engineer’s Office as the cornerstone of Bukidnon’s physical development, emphasizing that each road, bridge, and structure stands as a testament to their technical expertise, integrity, and steadfast commitment to public service.

With these achievements, Bukidnon continues to chart a path toward inclusive development, proving that strategic investment in infrastructure can transform landscapes, strengthen connectivity, and uplift communities across the province. (melbmadera)
