7 FMR projects in Valencia inaugurated

MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon (Dec. 26, 2023) – Seven newly completed farm-to-market roads in Valencia City were turned over to seven beneficiary barangays that were previously under the grip of insurgency

According to a press announcement from the local government, the ceremonies were held on December 22, 2023.

The project beneficiaries are barangays Dagatkidavao, Mabuhay, Sinayawan, Tongantongan, Lourdes, Lumbayao, and Sinabuagan.

Each project has a budget of PhP4 million.

The projects were carried out in accordance with Executive Order No. 70, an order that institutionalized the whole-of-nation approach to achieve inclusive and sustainable peace by providing programs such as infrastructure construction and social services to villages in suppressing insurgency.

City Mayor Azucena P. Huervas expressed her gratitude for the completion of the projects that will greatly help the development of the beneficiary barangays.

The ceremony was attended by DILG Bukidnon Cluster Head Glenda Hope Beley, CLGOO Jan Eric Manasan, Assistant City Administrator Rembert Bautista, officials from the six barangays, and project contractors. (melbmadera)

P28.5M SBDP, FALGU projects turned-over to Cabanglasan residents

CABANGLASAN, Bukidnon – Residents of Barangays Canangaan, Mandahican, and Mandaing are already enjoying the P28.5 million worth of infrastructure projects funded under the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) and Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU), after the conduct of simultaneous turnover ceremonies on May 4, 2023, in Cabanglasan, Bukidnon

These infrastructure projects are four (4) water supply systems, three (3) health stations, and three (3) farm-to-market roads, which are priority projects identified by the barangay residents, during the conduct of Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) in their localities.

In his testimonial message, Punong Barangay Ermin A. Tampus expressed his gratitude to the national government for being identified as one of the beneficiary barangays of these programs.

“Maski unsa pa na ka gamay o kadako nga proyekto ang moabot sa amoa gikan sa gobyerno, basta gikinahanglan sa mga katawhan, dako na gyud kaayo na og kausaban sa ilang pang adlaw-adlaw nga panginabuhian,” he said.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-10 Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) and the Provincial Local Government Unit of Bukidnon, particularly the Provincial Engineering Office, strengthened their coordination to complete the projects.

With these milestones, DILG Bukidnon Provincial Director Rhona Pedraza-Abadilla reminded the beneficiaries to safeguard the turned-over projects so that future generations can still benefit from them.

“Karon itunol na namo kining kompleto nga proyekto ug kamo na ang gapanag-iya niini. Pasabot ani, naa na ang responsibilidad sa pag-amuma ani nga mga proyekto. Hinaot unta inyo ning ampingan arun molungtad pa ang proyekto sa dugay nga panahon,” Abadilla said.

DILG turns over water supply system, other projects to Cabanglasan

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has turned over some P28.5 million worth of infrastructure projects in Cabanglasan, Bukidnon, as part of the government’s Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) and Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU)

The project locations are in Barangays Canangaan, Mandahican, and Mandaing and involve four water supply systems, three health stations, and three farm-to-market roads.
The DILG explained that the barangay residents identified projects as top priorities during the conduct of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) in their respective localities.

Pormal nga gi-turnover ngadto sa mga residente sa upat ka barangay ang bag-ong farm-to-market roads (FMRs) nga napatuman ubos sa Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) sa managlahing higayon

Ang lokal nga panggamhanan nipahibalo nga ang maong mga barangay mao ang Barangay Concepcion, Laligan, Tugaya ug Guinoyuran.

Ang pag-turnover sa FMRs sa Barangay Concepcion ug Laligan gipahigayon niadtong Pebrero 17, 2023 sa Barangay Laligan Covered Court.

Samtang sa Barangay Guinoyuran Covered Court gipahigayon niadtong Pebrero 24, 2023 ang pag-turnover ngadto sa Barangay Tugaya ug Guinoyuran.

Ang maong proyekto isa ka inisyatiba sa National Government pinaagi sa Executive Order No. 70 ni kanhi presidente Rodrigo Duterte nga nagapalig-on sa pakiglambigit sa mga lokal nga pangagamhanan alang sa pagsugpo sa insurhensya pinaagi sa paghatag og saktong pagtagad sa mga panginahanglanon sa mga kabarangayan, ilabi na ang mga komunidad sa hilit nga mga dapit, sama sa pagtukod og mga proyektong pang-imprastraktura.
