PLGU Bukidnon midawat og P3.2-million truck gikan DA-10

Ang Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) nagtugyan og isa ka hauling truck nga adunay balor nga P3.2 million ngadto sa Provincial Local Government Unit sa Bukidnon niadtong Pebrero 22, 2024

Sumala sa kasayoran sa DA-10, tumong niini ron mapaspasan ang pagpalapad sa serbisyo sa agrikultura.

Ang proyekto sa sakyanan nga gipundohan ubos sa Corn Program sa ahensya gi-turnover sa mga opisyal sa DA-10 ngadto kang Acting Provincial Agriculturist Jacqueline Julia A. Lagamon.

Paambit ni Lagamon nga ang trak makatabang sa paghatod sa mga inputs sama sa seeds ug abono ingon man ayuda sa mga operasyon sa Kadiwa sa probinsiya.

Dugang niya nga “kining hauling truck makapadali sa paghatod sa agri-interventions ngadto sa mga benepisyaryo, ilabina sa lagyong mga dapit ug makapauswag sa mga aspeto sa produksiyon ug pagpamaligya sa mga mag-uuma sa probinsiya.”

Php 180M worth of various infra projects turnovers to SBDP brgy benefeciaries in Lantapan

DILG Regional Director Wilhelm M. Suyko, Ceso IV, and Provincial Director Rhona Pedraza-Abadilla together with the Provincial Local Government Unit represented by Provincial Engr. Albert D. Yulo led the joint turnover of the 14 infrastructure projects to the Nine (9) Beneficiary Barangays in the Municipality of Lantapan, last March 9, 2023

The said activity sets a remarkable milestone for the Province of Bukidnon for inaugurating a total of PhP180-Million worth of projects in Lantapan, with the highest completion rate at 100% among the beneficiary LGUs in the province.
The completed projects comprising Eight Local Access Roads, Four (4) Water Supply System, One (1) Health Station, and One (1) School Building demonstrates the seamless efforts of both LGUs and National Government Agencies, and most importantly it manifests effectively
monitoring and supervision as well as a higher degree of accountability among the stakeholders.
The successful event was made possible by the active involvement of the Local Government Unit of Lantapan through the able leadership of Municipal Mayor Ernie R. Devibar and the Municipal Engineering’s Office in collaboration with DILG Lantapan.
In his message, Mayor Devibar wholeheartedly expressed his appreciation to the national government for giving a significant amount for the implementation of their project. He further signifies the LGUs support in the repair and maintenance of the project. “Dako amoang pasalamat sa nadawat nga mga proyekto nga ge dapat sa siyam (9) ka mga
barangay. Nanghinaot ako nga ang mga barangay og residente mag hatag og pagtagad alang sa pag amping sa mga proyekto, og kami usab sa munisipyo mo alalay alang sa pag repair og pag maintain sa
mga proyekto”, said Mayor Devibar.
Barangays of Alanib, Bantuanon, Basac, Cawayan, Kibanggay, Kulasihan, Capitan Juan, Songco, and Victory received PhP20Million each worth of funding for the implementation of their
priority projects to address primarily the development gaps and bring sustainable peace to formerly communist-infiltrated barangays.
“Amoang dakong kalipay nga nasinatian na namo ang kabag-ohan tungod sa mga proyektong nahatag diri sa amoang lugar. Aduna nay kalinaw og naka tagamtam na og saktong tubig ang mga lumulupyo sa taas nga bahin sa amoang barangay”, said Punong Barangay Reynald C. Pisgay of Barangay Capitan Juan.
The activity was also graced by the presence and congratulatory messages from partner line agencies represented by LTC Roger Anthony E Nuylan Jr INF (GSC) PA, Deputy Provincial
Director Col. Arce Yam-oc of PNP Bukidnon, Provincial Engineering Office, and Members of the beneficiary Barangay Council.
The SBDP is a result of the Retooled Community Support Program of DILG, a convergence mechanism of the government, particularly on the identification of the needed interventions at the barangay level, anchored in addressing efficient delivery of basic services to once communist-affected barangays. PLGU Bukidnon, LGU Tubod to avail subprojects under PRDP scale-up

MALAYBALAY CITY – Another batch of interested LGUs from Bukidnon expressed interest in availing the PRDP Scale-up subprojects during the orientation on the updated guidelines conducted by the Department of Agriculture – Regional Project Coordination Office 10 (DA-RPCO 10) on March 1, 2023

Participating LGUs include the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Bukidnon including the Municipal Local Government Units (MLGUs) of Baungon, Cabanglasan, Damulog, Dangcagan, Don Carlos, Impasug-ong, Kadingilan, Kalilangan, Kibawe, Kitaotao, Lantapan, Libona, Malitbog, Manolo Fortich, Maramag, Pangantucan, Quezon, San Fernando, Sumilao, Talakag, and the City Local Government Unit (CLGUs) of Malaybalay and Valencia.

MLGU Tubod of Lanao del Norte also joined the activity.

On behalf of Bukidnon Governor, Rogelio Neil P. Roque, PLGU Bukidnon PPMIU Head, Jezrel Mangubat expressed his appreciation to the Department of Agriculture – 10 (DA-10) for responding to their call for a PRDP orientation.

“We are grateful that PRDP has responded to our request. I hope that all of us can comply We can all agree that availing the project can really alleviate the lives of our farmers,” Mangubat said.

DA-10 OIC-Regional Executive Director and DA-PRDP 10 Project Director Carlene C. Collado encouraged the interested proponents that the region is open to accepting project proposals.

He also guaranteed that the RPCO is ready to assist them in the preparation.

Project proposals can be subject to the Regional Project Advisory Board (RPAB) review once the LGU can comply with the documentary requirements.

The PRDP Scale-up aims to introduce an integrated framework in order to address the gaps in the value chains focusing on improving the efficiency of the food supply chain. (PR)
