CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Aiming to streamline its programs and services, the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-10) recently conducted a coordination meeting with stakeholders in Bukidnon province to align programs and projects for 2026 and 2027
On March 6, the DA-10 team, headed by Regional Executive Director Jose Apollo Y. Pacamalan, met with stakeholders from the 3rd District of Bukidnon through District Representative Audrey Kay T. Zubiri. During the meeting, DA-10 presented its ongoing programs and projects and proposed initiatives for the coming year.
Similar coordination meetings were conducted through the Provincial Operations Center (POC) of Bukidnon in other districts of the province as part of the agency’s continuing efforts to work closely with local stakeholders in identifying priority agricultural investments and ensuring that programs respond to the needs and potentials of farming communities.
Among the topics discussed are plans for the department’s digital agriculture infrastructure and services, expansion of the Integrated Rice-Duck Farming System, establishment of Chocolate and Coconut Processing Centers, and development of farm-to-market roads.
Through these engagements, DA-10 aims to strengthen collaboration with local government units and partners, ensuring that agricultural initiatives are well-coordinated and strategically implemented. (pr)
