Isa ka amahan ang gidunggab sa iyang kaugalingong anak sa Barangay Maican, Damulog, Bukidnon

Base sa report sa pulisya, ang insidente nahitabo niadtong Oktubre 29, 2023 sa ala 1:30 sa buntag.

Ang biktima isa ka 48-anyos nga mag-uuma nga residente sa P-4 Maican, Damulog, Bukidnon.

Samtang ang suspek, kinsa anak sa biktima, giila nga isa ka 24-anyos nga watchman sa RNN Construction ug residente sa maong dapit.

Matod sa taho, ang suspek nakig-inom sa mga higala niini sa dihang gipahunong sa pag-inom ug gipapauli kini sa iyang amahan.

Tungod niini, ang suspek nasuko sa iyang amahan ug gisaksak kini gamit ang isa ka 12-inch nga kutsilyo.

Sen. Go visits projects in Damulog, Bukidnon

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go visited five key infrastructure projects in Damulog, Bukidnon, on September 16, 2023

Go visit the five completed projects, namely: the trading post/bagsakan center, which is worth Php1 million; the concreted streets and access roads, worth Php8 million; the solar street lights, worth Php5 million; the evacuation center (e-center), worth Php15 million; and the five-story multi-purpose building, worth Php40 million.

After the groundbreaking of the Super Health Center in Manolo Fortich in Bukidnon, Senator Bong Go went straight to the town of Damulog to visit and inspect the projects he supported for funding as Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Finance.

He first visited the Bagsakan Center, a public market established to provide a centralized location for local farmers and vendors to sell their produce. The senator said that this is a step towards a more stable economy in Damulog. He added that he wants the public market to become a center of trade and opportunity for everyone.

After the market visit, Go then examined a road concreting project that aims to improve the transportation of goods and services and boost economic growth. He also went to the recently built evacuation center (e-center), where he led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The senator then went throughout the municipality, inspecting the solar street lights that had been installed. It is an initiative of the local government of Damulog in Bukidnon to promote renewable energy and public safety.

For his last stop, Go inspected the five-story multi-purpose building that will serve as a community center and the offices of various government offices.

Damulog Mayor Mel Buro thanked Go for his effort to make these key infrastructure projects possible. Go also met with some local mayors from Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon while he was in Damulog.

In his speech, Go also advised those with health concerns to visit the Malasakit Center located at Bukidnon Provincial Hospital in Maramag and the nearby centers at Northern Mindanao Medical Center and J.R. Borja General Hospital in Cagayan de Oro City.

To date, 159 Malasakit Centers are operational across the country to assist with patients’ medical expenses. He said that of the 40 Malasakit centers in Mindanao, seven are in Northern Mindanao. When asked how many super health centers are planned to be built in Bukidnon, he answered 11.

Sen. Go said that for the years 2022–2023, they plan to build 600 Malasakit centers throughout the country. The super health center is a medium-sized polyclinic that offers a wide range of services, including giving birth, laboratory testing, x-rays, dental care, and minor surgical procedures. Canoy, Jr. Dungan niini, gipahigayon usab ang IEC Campaign kabahin sa rabies awareness ug responsible pet ownership.

Sa data gikan sa PVet, 31 ka mga iro ug duha (2) ka iring ang nabakunahan, samtang kinse (15) ka mga baka, trese (13) ka mga kabaw, lima (5) ka kabayo, walo ( ka kanding, duha (2) ka iro, 142 ka baboy ug trese (13) ka manok ang napurga. Nahatagan usab sa vitamin supplementation ang 729 ka mga manok, kinse (15) ka mga baka, trese (13) ka mga kabaw ug walo ( ka mga kanding.

Gitandi sa 27th SP ang probinsya sa Bukidnon ug Misamis Oriental, basi sa 2020 Population Census sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), nasuta nga adunay dakong diperensya sa kadaghanon sa populasyon sa duha ka probinsya. Diin ang Misamis Oriental aduna lamang populasyon nga 956,900 apan adunay 18 ka RTC Branches, samtang ang Bukidnon, adunay 1,541,308 nga populasyon, apan aduna lamang walo ka RTC Branches.

Zubiri, Jr., pinaagi sa Resolution No. 2023-986 (27th SP) nga giulohan ni Board Member Nemesio B. Beltran, Jr., pinetsahan Enero 10, 2023, atol sa ika-23 nga regular session sa 27th SP

Mahinumduman nga una nang nagpalabang ang 27th SP sa Resolution No. 2022-476 nga nagsugyot ngadto sa House of Representatives ug Senate of the Philippines nga dugangan ug usa ka distrito ang probinsya, nga pagalangkuban sa mga LGUs gikan sa ika-tulong distrito.

Sa re-districting version ni Cong. Isa ka ulitawo ang patay human nibangga kini sa isa ka concrete signage sa Purok 8, Old Damulog, Damulog, Bukidnon kaniadtong Enero 9, 2023 sa ala 1:15 sa buntag.

Ang biktima giila nga si Jhervann Urbana Tinaco, 24, ug residente sa P-3, Old Damulog, Damulog, Bukidnon.

Gibutyag sa report ni Police Lt. Anthony T. Ofima, oic sa Damulog Municipal Police Station nga ang biktima nagmaneho sa iyang motorsiklo sa kusog nga dagan ug gituohan nga ubos sa impluwensya sa makahubog nga ilimnon.

Gilaslas ang liog sa isa ka mag-uuma human gikalalis niini ang suspek gabii sa Pebrero 28 sa Purok 1, Brgy. Maican, Damulog, Bukidnon.

Si Police Col. Jun Mark J. Lagare, provincial director sa Bukidnon Police Provincial Office (BPPO), niila sa biktima nga si Janer Morales y Tamon, 35, mag-uuma, adunay kapuyo ug residente sa dapit. Nakaangkon siya sa samad sa walang bahin sa likod sa liog ug gidala sa Bukidnon Provincial Hospital sa Brgy. Palma, Kibawe, Bukidnon.

Ang suspek nailang si Alejandro Corbeta y Garan “Alyas Andot”, 43, mag-uuma, minyo, ug residente sab sa dapit.

Sa imbestigasyon sa kapolisan, nasayran nga ang suspek ug biktima adunay dringking spree. Samtang ang suspek nisayaw atubangan sa kapuyo sa biktima, nagselos ug nasuko ang naulahi ug nagkalalis ang duha. Ang suspek niuli apan nibalik kini bitbit ang sanggot ug gilaslas ang liog sa biktima.

Si Corbeta boluntaryong nitahan sa niresponding kapolisan. Siya ubos sa kustodya sa kapolisan sa Damulog samtang gihikay na ang kasong frustrated murder batok kaniya.

LANDBANK opens first offsite ATM and CDM Center in Mindanao

DAMULOG, Bukidnon, Feb. 26 (PIA)— The Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) recently launched in Damulog, Bukidnon, its first-ever offsite Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) Center in Mindanao.

LANDBANK Don Carlos Branch Head Grace C. De Leon and Damulog town Mayor Melino L. Buro led the official inaugural ceremony of the said banking facility that will cater to communities in the southern part of Bukidnon and North Cotabato areas, as well as other municipalities under the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

“This ATM and CDM Center aims to further strengthen LANDBANK’s presence in the unbanked and underserved municipalities by offering access to innovative and convenient banking services,” De Leon said.

She said the ATM and CDM Center was established through the local government unit (LGU) support, which constructed the building that houses the terminals and granted free use of space and utility provision for the next 20 years.

As of 15 February 2021, LANDBANK has a total of 2,316 ATMs and 168 CDMs nationwide.
