Nakuha sa Public Employment Service Office (PESO) sa Malaybalay City ang Best PESO sa Component City Category sa Bukidnon

Nahitabo kini human nakuha sa dakbayan ang lima ka awards atol sa gipahigayon nga Provincial Year-End Performance Assessment niadtong Nobyembre 29, 2023.
Ang PESO sa Malaybalay City, ubos sa pagdumala ni PESO Manager Atty. Anna Marie Bergado, nakadawat sa maong mga pasidungog isip pagpamatuod sa ilang pag-alagad sa komunidad.

Ang Bukidnon ang ika-pitong probinsya na binisita ng BPSF para ilapit ang nasa 176 na serbisyo at programa ng nasa 58 na ahensya ng pamahalaan at inaasahang makakabenepisyo ng 110,000 na indibidwal, pinakamalaking benefiriacy base ng BPSF.

Kabilang sa mga serbisyo ang province-wide payout ng 22 LGUs ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) sa ilalim ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), kung saan inaashaang higit sa is 53,000 na indibidwal ang makakatanggap ng kabuuang P105 milyon na tulong pinansyal.

Ilan pa sa tulong na ikinasa ang Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) sa ilalim naman ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na seserbisyuhan ang mg 4th hanggang 6th-class na munisipalidad.

Unang isinagawa ang pilot test ng BPSF sa Biliran at kalaunan ay sabayang inilunsad sa Ilocos Norte, Camarines Sur, Leyte at Davao de Oro noong Setyembre. Bago sa Bukidnon, huling binista ng BPSF ang Laguna.

Umaasa si Speaker Romualdez na mabisita ng serbisyo caravan ang lahat ng 82 probinsya at maabot ang nasa 2 milyong benepisyunaryo.

Ang nga benepisyunaryo sa mga bibisitahing probinsya ay magkakaroon ng access sa social services; health at medical support; livelihood at educational assistance; serbusyo ng regulatory functions; at iba pang bureaucratic services para sila bigyang kapasidad.

Sa unang gabi ng BPSF sa Bukidnon nitong Sabado, idaraos rin ang libreng pasasalamat concert na inaasahang dadagsain ng nasa 10,000 manonood at gagawin sa Provincial Capitol Grounds.

Sumala sa pahibalo sa LGU Valencia, nadawat sa mga benepisyaryo ang ilang payout nga bunga sa 10 ka adlaw nga ilang pagtrabaho sa komunidad niadtong Oktubre 10, 2023.

Ang turnover gipahigayon sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) X – Bukidnon Provincial Field Office (BukPFO) pinaagi sa DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP).

Sumala sa pahibalo sa DOLE-X BukPFO, adunay 47 ka ginikanan sa child laborers ang nakadawat sa working capital nga mikabat sa Php15,000.00.

Ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-X) Bukidnon Provincial Field Office (BukPFO) mipahigayon sa Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) payout sa Bukidnon

Base sa pahibalo sa DOLE-X BukPFO, ang payout gipahigayon sa duha ka lungsod sa Bukidnon niadtong Setyembre 28, 2023.

Mikabat sa Php1,559,250.00 ang kinatibuk-an nga kantidad sa salary wages ang natugyan sa 385 ka mga benepisyaryo sa New Terminal, Talakag, Bukidnon.

Samtang adunay 426 ka mga benepisyaryo ang nakadawat sa mikabat sa Php1,725,300.00 nga salary wage didto sa Municipal Gymnasium, Cabanglasan, Bukidnon.

Gitaho nga ang matag benepisyaryo nakadawat og Php4,050 alang sa ilang 10-day work nga sweldo.

Bukidnon has 15,000 child laborers, says DOLE

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Bukidnon has close to 15,000 child laborers, making it the province in Northern Mindanao with the highest number, according to the Department of Labor and Employment in Region 10 (DOLE-10)

DOLE defines “child labor” as including “hazardous work … which encompasses undesirable activities or work done in a hazardous environment,” and “work done for long hours of more than 40 hours and/or night time or the entire day.”

These children are working in the farms, doing domestic work, fishing, or even in construction, a DOLE-10 report emailed to MindaNews said.

The report, which profiled child laborers during the period 2018 to 2021, said that of Northern Mindanao’s five provinces, Bukidnon gained the top spot with 14,790 child laborers.

It is followed by Misamis Oriental with 10,382 (aside from the 7,793 child laborers in Cagayan de Oro City, the province’s capital), Lanao del Norte with 9,014, Misamis Occidental with 3,979, and Camiguin with 1,902.

In all of Region 10, DOLE-10 reported a total of 47,860 child laborers, 28,930 of whom are males and 18,930 females.

In terms of age bracket, the 15-17 range has the highest at 35,298, followed by 10-14 with 11,665.

“Notably, all provinces have child laborers aged 3 to 4 years old, with the highest prevalence in Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro, with 17 and 13, respectively,” said the DOLE-10 report.

“The desire of these children to help their parents is very strong that from school or after waking up in the morning, they would go to the fields to do manual work,” said Erlinda Sayago, executive director of the Kaanib Foundation, during a press conference here Wednesday.

Kaanib Foundation, DOLE-10, and the Child Fund Philippines are helping to decrease the number of child labor in Bukidnon and other Northern Mindanao provinces.

“It’s very hard to eradicate child labor in an economy relying on agriculture,” said lawyer Russel Jallorina, assistant regional director of DOLE-10.

Jallorina said work is readily available in Bukidnon’s agricultural fields, considered the food basket of Northern Mindanao where poverty incidence is among the highest in the country.

Sayoga said that aside from helping raise the income of their family, the children also look for work to pay for their school needs like notebooks and pens.

“When the schools went for online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was hell for the children. Many opted to look for work instead of attending the online classes where they have to pay for the Internet,” she added.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in a report released July 25, 2023, said that there were 1.48 million working children aged 5 to 17 in 2022, or about 4.7 percent of the total population of 31.71 million.

Of these working children, DOLE said that 828,000 are considered engaged in child labor.

The number, DOLE noted, is lower than in 2021, when child laborers numbered 935,000.

Across regions, Region 12 (Soccsksargen) has the highest proportion of child laborers at 12.5 percent. Northern Mindanao is at the fourth spot, with 9.4 percent. Central Visayas is second at 10.5 percent, followed by the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region at 10.4 percent. (Froilan Gallardo / MindaNews)

Ang PGB nipahibalo nga ang paglusad gipahigayon niadtong Hulyo 17, 2023, sa Kaamulan Park, sa dakbayan sa Malaybalay.

Gitimbayayongan kini sa Office of the President, Department of Agriculture, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Social Welfare and Development, ug uban pang ahensya sa gobyerno, ingon man sa pribadong sektor.

Ang KADIWA ng Pangulo inisyatibo ni President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., nga nagtinguha sa isa ka halapad nga han-ay sa barato ug taas nga kalidad nga mga produkto sa agrikultura gikan sa mga lokal nga mag-uuma.

3 Bukidnon people’s organizations receive P750,000 livelihood aid

THREE people’s organizations (POs) in Malitbog town, Bukidnon, have received P750,000 worth of livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Northern Mindanao

The recipient organizations, who received P250,000 worth of livelihood kits on July 3, 2023, were San Migara Tingag United Women’s Association (SMITUWA), Sitio Logdeck Higaonon Farmers Association (SILOHFA), and

Sitio Victory Higaonon Farmers Association (SVHFA).

The livelihood kits, provided through the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), are for their consumer store, rice trading business, and agrivet and farm supply store, respectively.

According to the 16th Infantry Battalion, these POs were formerly organized sectors of the Communist-NPA Terrorists (CNT) in isolated communities.

Mario Senagonia, president of the SVHFA, expressed his gratitude to DOLE-Northern Mindanao, the 16IB, and the local government unit of Malitbog, who collaborated with DOLE to grant and facilitate their livelihood project.

Senagonia added that the kits will create more jobs and provide sustainable income to the members of their organization.

Earlier this year, DOLE-Northern Mindanao handed over P360,000 worth of livelihood kits to former rebels and another P375,000 worth of livelihood kits to the parents of child laborers. (Sunstar)
