Nakorner sa mga miyembro sa Maramag Municipal Police Station (MMPS) ang top one high value individual target sa kapolisan ug Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sa Bukidnon

Sumala sa report ni Police Lt. Col. Bryan M. Panganiban, chief of police sa MMPS, nasikop ang 32-anyos nga si alyas Van-Van sa buy bust operation sa illegal drugs sa Purok 5, South Poblacion, Maramag.

Nasignit siya uban ang laing drug suspek nga lalaki pasado ala 1:48 buntag sa Hulyo 16, 2024.

Nakuha gikan sa ilang posisyon ang gidudahang shabu nga nibalor sa PhP3,400.

Kasong paglapas sa RA 9165 kon Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 ang giandam na batok sa mga dinakpan. (Diego M. Hidalgo)

Ang probinsya sa Bukidnon giila isip Lymphatic Filariasis Free o mas naila nga elephantiasis free

Sumala sa kasayoran sa provincial government sa Bukidnon, base kini sa gipagawas nga datos ni Ms. Avril Melissa C. Bughaw sa Provincial Health Office.

Nadayag niya kini atol sa “Maayong Panglawas Mo, Kaugmaon Mo” radio program sa niaging semana.

Ang bulan sa Hulyo giila sa Department of Health National Elimination Program nga Filariasis Mass Drug Administration Month.

Niining bulana, labing gihingusgan ang pagsumpo sa filariasis.

Ang filariasis isa ka balatian nga makuha sa kagaw o parasitic worms nga resulta sa pinaakan sa lamok.

Focal prophylaxis for schistosomiasis administered in Barangay St. Peter

MALAYBALAY CITY (May 22, 2024) – The City Health Office (CHO) conducted focal prophylaxis for schistosomiasis in Barangay St. Peter, a non-schisto-endemic area

This demonstrates a commitment to preventive healthcare and addressing potential health risks before they become significant problems.

By conducting such interventions, they’re not only protecting the health of individuals in Barangay St. Peter but also working towards preventing the spread of schistosomiasis to other areas.

Individuals aged 5 to 65 years old were administered a single dose of Praziquantel (40mg/kg) on a full stomach.

This intervention followed Malacological and Parasitological surveys by the City Health Office, which identified the presence of schistosomiasis in Barangay St. Peter.

During the malacological survey, the snail Oncomelania quadrasi, the intermediate host of Schistosoma japonicum, was found.

In a subsequent parasitological survey, 100 stool samples were examined using the Katokatz method, revealing that less than 1 percent were positive for schistosomiasis and soil- transmitted helminthiasis in the place.

In response, the Department of Health Center for Health and Development Northern Mindanao (DOH-CHDNM) provided Praziquantel, the preferred drug for treating schistosomiasis.

Following health advisories, a mass treatment approach was adopted, providing prophylactic treatment to the entire eligible population, regardless of infection status.

By treating everyone within the eligible age range, the intervention aims to prevent new infections and reduce the overall burden of the disease in the community. (CHO-NADA/melbmadera)

Cops busted 6 drug suspects in Kalilangan, Pangantucan

MALAYBALAY CITY (Jan. 10, 2024) – Six drug suspects have been apprehended by police in a series of buy-bust operations in the towns of Kalilangan and Pangantucan in the province of Bukidnon’s south-western region

Members from Kalilangan Municipal Police Station (KMPS) has cornered two males who are newly identified high-value individuals in a buy-bust operation at Purok 2B, Brgy. Kinura, Kalilangan, Bukidnon at around 3:17 AM on January 9, 2024.

The suspects were a 24-year-old and 20 years old respectively.

The suspected shabu recovered from their possession and control has an estimated standard price of PhP505,172.00.

Members of KMPS also arrested 38-year-old and 23-year-old alleged male drug pushers in a buy-bust operation held at Sitio Cogo, Brgy. Macaopao of the same town at around 8:15 AM on the same day.

The confiscated suspected shabu from the newly identified suspects was estimated to be worth PhP21,556.00.

Meanwhile, personnel from Bukidnon Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit together with Pangantucan MPS and Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit have cornered two illegal drug suspects in a buy-bust operation at Purok 3, Brgy. Upper Barandias, Pangantucan, Bukidnon at around 6:40 PM on January 7, 2024.

The first suspect was a 24-years old male who is a high-value-individual while his newly identified drug personality male cohort is a 21-years old.

The recovered suspected shabu from their control and possession has a market value of PhP 374,000.00.

A case for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 were prepared against the arrested suspects.

The confiscated drug items were brought to Bukidnon Forensic Unit in Malaybalay City for qualitative and quantitative examinations.

The arrested persons are now under the custody of arresting police stations for documentation and proper disposition. (melbmadera)

Sumala sa report ni Police Major Christian D. Serdeña, hepe sa Kalilangan Municipal Police Station, nasikop sab nila ang duha ka mga lalaking suspek nga nag-edad 30 ug 31 anyos.
Lakip sa mga nasakmit sa kapolisan gikan sa mga suspek ang isa ka Smith and Wesson Cal .38 revolver without serial number nga kargado sa tulo ka mga bala, ug gidudahang shabu nga mitimbang sa 51.5 gramos nga adunay street value nga Php 350,200.
Ang nga nasikop ug mga ebidensya ang gidala ngadto sa Kalilangan MPS. Samtang ang mga drug pieces ang itugyan ngadto sa Bukidnon Forensic Unit alang sa qualitative ug quantitative
examinations.
Sa pagkutlo ning balita, gihikay na sa kapolisan ang kasong violation sa Sections 5 ug 11 sa Article II sa R.A. 9165 kon Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 ug violation sa R.A. 10591 kon “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act”.

Duha ka mga drug suspek ang nakorner sa hiniusang pwersa sa kapolisan sa isa ka drug buy-bust operation sa Pangantucan, Bukidnon

Base sa taho nga nahipos sa Bukidnon Police Provincial Office, ang mga suspek nasikop niadtong Nobyembre 6, 2023 sa alas 6:40 sa gtabie.

Ang duha ka babae nga mga suspek nag edad og 21 ug 36-anyos, parehong Newly Identified drug personalities, ug mga residente sa Panang, Wao, Lanao del Sur.

Nasakmit gikan kanila ang gibana-bana nga 10 gramo sa gidudahang shabu nga gitahong mukantidad og Php 68,000.00.

Ang operasyon gipahigayon niadtong Agosto 17, 2023 sa alas 5:50 sa hapon.

Giila ang suspek nga si Johnlee Marianas y Langcasan (watch-listed), 22, ulitawo, ug residente sa Purok Matinabangon, Brgy. Pinamaloy, Don Carlos, Bukidnon.

Ang suspek giila nga si Dennis Lloren, 33, ulitawo, merchandiser, High-Value Individual (HVI), ug residente sa Barangay 1, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Nasakmit gikan kaniya ang gibana-bana nga 50gramo sa gidudahang shabu.

Ang suspek uban sa nasakmit nga ebidensya gidala sa Valencia City Police Station alang sa hustong disposasyon.

Ang Don Carlos Municipal Police Station nitaho nga ang droga nasakmit gikan sa duha ka watch-listed nga indibidwal.

Ang mga suspek giila nga si Meshail Abenion y Anislag alyas “Misael Abinion”, 30, minyo, mag-uuma; ug si Clark Angelou Abenion y Anislag, 21, ulitawo, ug estudyante ug parehong residente sa maong dapit.

Nasakmit gikan sa mga suspek ang duha ka pakete sa gidudahang shabu nga adunay gibana-bana nga gibug-aton nga 11 gramos.
