Bukidnon ‘criminal’ gangsters with multiple warrants yield

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Three alleged members of a Bukidnon-based criminal group with multiple warrants of arrest surrendered to the police on March 13, 2023, a police official said

Brig. Gen. Lawrence Coop, Police Regional Office-10 director, identified the surrenderers from the Acuman Criminal Group as Erwin Acuman, the leader; his brother, Dario; and cousin Ryan.
Coop said the group has gained notoriety by engaging in robbery, cattle rustling, and extortion schemes in Bukidnon province, specifically in Talakag town and its adjacent municipalities.
“Our efforts have now resulted positively as several members of the criminal gang have surrendered to the folds of the law,” Coop said in a media briefing here.
Coop said the Acumans have multiple warrants of arrest for murder, frustrated and attempted murders and illegal possession of high-powered firearms and ammunition.
During their surrender, he said the suspects surrendered an M16 riffle, M14 riffle, a .45-caliber pistol, and ammunition.
Coop vowed that PRO-10 will remain “proactive in the intelligence-driven operation with the active support of the community.”
Meanwhile, the PRO-10 also reported that at least 184 police operations in February alone resulted in the arrest of 227 drug personalities, the confiscation of 531 grams of shabu worth PHP3.6 million, and 4,062 grams of marijuana worth PHP487,440.
At least 177 law enforcement operations targeting loose firearms also yielded 22 arrests and 56 firearms confiscated and recovered.
Fifty-six firearms were also turned in by their owners for safekeeping during the implementation of “Oplan Katok.”
On the other hand, PRO-10 also reported the arrest of 448 wanted persons in February. During the same period, Coop said the government’s offensive efforts against communist rebels were sustained, as manifested by 17 arrested New People’s Army rebels. (Nef Luzon/PNA)

Nakuha sa ilang posesyon ang 12 gramo sa gidudahang shabu nga adunay estimated standard drug price nga Php 81,600.00.

Isa ka negosyante ang nakuhaan og armas ug droga sa hiniusang pwersa sa kapolisan sa Purok 2, Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon niadtong Enero 13, 2023 sa alas 12:32 sa buntag.

Ang arestado giila nga si Oliver Salga y Lagubis III, 36, minyo, negosyante/painter, ug residente sa Purok-17, Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Sa report ni Police Lt. Col. Ritchie A. Salva, OIC sa Malaybalay City Police Station, gibutyag nga ang nakuha nga gidudahang shabu gikan sa suspek mokantidad og Php36,244.00.

Nakuha sab gikan sa suspek ang .45 pistol, duha ka steel magazines ug mga bala.

Isa ka mag-uuma ang gisikop sa hiniusang pwersa sa kapolisan sa gipahigayon nga drug buy-bust operation sa Sitio Cogo, Macaopao, Kalilangan, Bukidnon niadtong Enero 16, 2023.

Gibutyag sa report ni Police Maj. Merlin M. Macawili, OIC sa Kalilangan Municipal Police Station, nga ang suspek mao si Minsuari Ampatua y Ampatua aka “Minsu”, 30, minyo, ug residente sa Purok-6, Mimbuaya, Lanao del Sur.

Nakuha gikan sa iyang posesyon ang gibana-bana nga 12 gramo sa gidudahang shabu nga adunay standard drug price nga Php 81,600.00.

Php 1 Million shabu seized in Valencia

MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon (Jan. 04) – Joint police team and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bukidnon seized a suspected shabu worth Php 1,060,800.00 in a buy bust operation at Purok 8, Brgy. Poblacion, Valencia City, Bukidnon at around 7:15 p.m. on January 3, a police report said.

Operatives also arrested the two newly identified alleged drug pushers.

Police Lt. Col. John Ray G. Barazan, officer in-charge of Valencia City Police Station, in his report identified the suspects as Jonathan Ian Agdon y Ora, 25, single and resident of Purok 5, Patag, Brgy. Bagontaas and Raul Loregas y Guanitas, 37, single and resident of Purok1, Brgy. Laligan – all in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

The alleged drug pushers and the seized suspected shabu and non-drug evidence were brought to Valencia City Police Station for proper disposition. The drug evidence will be turned over to PNP Provincial Forensic Unit, Malaybalay City for laboratory examination.

A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court against the
arrested suspects.

Nakuha gikan sa posisyon sa suspek ang pakite sa gidudahang shabu nga adunay estimated street value nga P500.00 isip buy bust item, laing pakite sa gidudahang shabu nga adunay estimated street value nga P34,000.00, pakite sa gidudahang marijuana nga adunay balor nga P168.00 ug P500.00 bill isip buy bust money.

Ang suspek ug nasakmit nga mga ebidensya ang gidala sa buhatan sa kapolisan sa Malaybalay. Pagkahuman, gitugyan sab ngadto sa Bukidnon Provincial Crime Laboratory nga nahimutang sa dakbayan.

Gihikay na sab sa kapolisan sa Malaybalay ang kaso batok sa suspek kalabotan sa kalapasan sa R.A. 9165 kon Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs act of 2002.

PDEA destroys over P61-M illegal drugs in CDO

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (May 18) – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Region 10 (PDEA-10) destroyed Tuesday illegal drugs amounting to over P61.4 million.

PDEA-10 officer-in-charge Benjamin Recites III said the illegal drugs consisted of over 9,043 grams of shabu, some 4.5 grams of marijuana fruiting tops, and 0.4 gram of marijuana dried leaves.

The substances were burned using the cremation facility of the Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapel here.

Recites said the illegal drugs were seized by the agency from various operations in Northern Mindanao. The drugs were presented as evidence in various cases filed against drug suspects.

Pursuant to section 21, Article 11 of RA 9165, and Dangerous Drugs Board Resolution Number 1, series of 2002 and 2007, the destruction of the illegal drug evidence from concluded cases ensures the prevention of circulating it back to the streets.

Despite the downtrend in illegal drug trade activities amid the heightened security checkpoints and stay-at-home rules related to the coronavirus disease pandemic, Recites said PDEA remains “steadfast in pursuing its mandate because some illegal drug trade is still existing in the region.”
