4ID recognized as TESDA Northern Mindanao’s Best National Government Agency

The 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division was recognized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Northern Mindanao as its Best National Government Agency for its significant contribution to the implementation and development of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in the Region, which resulted in TESDA’s consecutive highest approval and trust ratings among government agencies in the country.

Said plaque of appreciation was received by Colonel Ted B. Dumosmog, the 4ID Assistant Division Commander for Reservist and Retiree Affairs (ADC RRA) during the 29th TESDA Anniversary Celebration held at the Mallberry Suites Business Hotel, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de Oro City on August 31, 2023. It was attended by the personnel and staff of TESDA Region 10 led by its Regional Director, Mr. Dan N. Navarro, other government agencies, and officers of the 4ID.

RD Navarro recognized the unwavering support of 4ID to all the TESDA programs and projects which greatly contributed to the endeavor of the organization in providing vulnerable sectors a better way to live.

Meanwhile, Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, the Commander of 4ID also expressed his gratitude to TESDA Region 10 for acknowledging the efforts of the Diamond Troopers, a testament to strong collaboration in order to achieve a common goal – to sustain peace and development in communities, especially the geographically isolated and disadvantage areas. MALAYBALAY CITY – Ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) ug Bukidnon Technical-Vocational Institutions Association (BUKTIA) mipahigayon og forum aron aron mahatagan sa impormasyon ug balita ang mga technical-vocational nga mga institusyon kabahin sa mga programa sa Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET), mga scholarship, oportunidad sa trabaho, ug mga panginahanglanon sa industriya

Matud ni TESDA-10 Regional Director Dan M. Navarro, tumong sa forum ang pagpadayon sa paghatag importansya sa TVET ug suporta sa mga eskwelahan aron mapalambo ang kalidad sa technical-vocational education, pagsalmot sa mga koneksyon sa mga kauban sa industriya, mga employers, ug mga stakeholders, ug lig-on nga kooperasyon tali sa mga TVET ug employers.

“Nagkatigom kita dinhi karon aron pagseguro nga mahatag sa TESDA ngadto sa atong mga partner, lakip ang pagpahigayon sa mga programa, paghatag sa training ug edukasyon matag tuig ngadto sa kadaghanan,” matud ni Navarro.

Dugang pa niya, ang BUKTIA nagpahibalo sa TVET sektor ug nagpromote sa importansya niini sa pagpalambo sa mga trabahante ug ekonomikanhong kalamboan sa nasud pinaagi sa paghatag og mga plataporma alang sa ‘sharing of best practices’–gamit ang mga bag-ong paagi–tali sa mga institusyon.

“Sa atong pasalig sa pag-atiman sa mga indibidwal nga nanginahanglan, ilabi na kadtong nag-depende sa gobyerno, karon dunay mga oportunidad nga atong gidawat alang sa dugang mga scholarship programs ug alokasyon,” dugang ni Navarro.

Gipasabot niya nga ang forum maoy makatabang diha sa pagkuha sa mga feedback gikan sa mga Technical-Vocational Institutions (TVIs). Kini nga mga impormasyon, matud pa niya, makatabang sa pagpauswag sa mga patakaran, regulasyon, ug mga katuyo-an sa mga nagdumala sa technical-vocational education.

Tungod niini, giseguro sa TESDA nga ang mga patakaran nga ipatuman maoy makab-ot ug masabtan diha sa panginahanglanon sa industriya ug sa mga ga-training o ga-eskwela, dugang pa niya.

Mikabat sa 80 ka indibidwal ang misalmot sa forum gikan sa mga eskwelahan nga naglangkob sa mga registrar, mga asosasyon sa industriya, mga representante sa tech-vocational institution, mga opisyal sa TESDA sa rehiyon ug probinsya, ug mga stakeholders. (KEEA/PIA-10/Bukidnon)
