MALITBOG, Bukidnon – A wave of gratitude filled the Malitbog Cultural Center on March 26, 2026, as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-X) Bukidnon Provincial Field Office, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Malitbog, successfully conducted a payout under the TUPAD program

In a press release, DOLE Bukidnon said a total of 378 beneficiaries from various barangays each received PHP 4,610 for their 10-day work, reflecting the government’s continued commitment to support vulnerable sectors amid economic challenges.

Among the recipients was Jerom B. Gansingan, a farmer from Barangay San Luis, who shared that the assistance will help him purchase fertilizer and farm inputs to sustain his livelihood.

“Dako ang tabang sa TUPAD Program… Ako gapasalamat nga naka-apil ko ani nga programa,” he said.

For Merlita B. Maballo of Barangay Omagling, the aid brought much-needed relief as rising prices strain household budgets.

“Dako ang pasalamat ani nga TUPAD Program… naa nami dungag pamalit para sa amo-a konsumo,” she expressed.

The TUPAD program provides temporary wage employment to displaced and underemployed workers, enabling them to support their families while contributing to community projects.

As beneficiaries return home with their earnings, the program’s impact goes beyond financial aid—helping farmers sustain their crops, families meet daily needs, and communities strengthen resilience in challenging times. (melbmadera)
