Warm greetings to all participants of the 20th Aldaw ta Kalatungan celebration, with heartfelt recognition to our esteemed Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities and our valued partner institutions

As the Protected Area Superintendent, I extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the protection, preservation, and sustainable management of the Mt. Kalatungan Range Natural Park. Today, we honor our Indigenous Peoples—guided by the wisdom of the Council of Elders and empowered by the passion of the Council of Youth of Mt. Kalatungan Range Natural Park—as the true guardians of this ancestral domain. Their enduring knowledge, sacred traditions, and cultural practices continue to serve as the foundation for conserving the park’s rich biodiversity and ecological heritage for generations to come.

We likewise express our sincere appreciation to our partner institutions—the Provincial Local Government Unit of Bukidnon, the Local Government Units of Valencia City, Maramag, Pangantucan, and Talakag, the PNP, AFP, CMU, DOST-PAGASA, DepEd Mt. Nebo, DOLE, SUMIFRU, KASILAK, Farmind, Del Monte Philippines, MM Enterprise Inc., Crystal Sugar Company, and Xavier Science Foundation, Inc.—for their steadfast collaboration and shared dedication in advancing our collective mission of environmental stewardship and community empowerment.

May this meaningful celebration further strengthen our unity, deepen our reverence for cultural heritage, and inspire continued cooperation in safeguarding our forests, watersheds, and natural treasures for the benefit of both present and future generations.

Thank you very much, and may we continue to walk together in harmony and solidarity in the noble service of environmental protection, cultural preservation, and sustainable conservation.

Happy 20th Aldaw ta Kalatungan celebration!
