MALAYBALAY CITY — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s birthday event brought multiple
government services to one venue as agencies delivered financial, livelihood, agricultural,
employment, and social assistance to over 3,000 Bukidnon beneficiaries during Handog ng
Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat on September 14 at Bukidnon State University.

The service caravan helped beneficiaries access assistance from several agencies in one stop,
reducing the need to visit separate government offices for different concerns.
Participating agencies included the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-10,
Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National
Irrigation Administration (NIA), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority
(TESDA), Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation, Department of Agriculture (DA), and
Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
Assistance included farm machinery and equipment for agrarian reform beneficiaries’
organizations, Batang Nutri-Care certificates, small- and medium-enterprise loan releases, solar
pumps, allowances, checks for associations, indemnity checks for farmers, farm inputs and
equipment, seedlings, pipes, and livelihood and financial assistance.
Cyrus Castillo, a beneficiary of loan releases for small and medium enterprises, said the financial
support would significantly boost his enterprise.

“Dako kaayo akong pasalamat sa gobyerno tungod niining tabang gikan sa Handog ng Pangulo.
Tungod niining loan release, madugangan ang akong kapital aron mapadako ang akong gamay
nga negosyo ug makatabang usab sa pamilya,” Castillo said.

provides the capital we need to expand our business and support our family.)
The DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) also turned over checks to participating SLP
associations for capital and income-generating activities.
For farmers, the assistance included equipment, irrigation support, farm inputs, and crop
insurance benefits. Associations and small businesses also received financial support to help
sustain their livelihood activities.
Bringing these services together gave beneficiaries a more direct way to access programs that
address immediate needs while supporting their farms, businesses, and income sources.
The service caravan, held to honor President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s birthday, brought
