Wanted person patay sa engkuwentro sa Don Carlos

Isa ka wanted person ang napatay human lakip sa nakigpinusilay batok sa law enforcers didto sa Purok 7B, Barangay Embayao, Don Carlos, Bukidnon

Sumala sa kasayoran gikan sa Bukidnon Police Provincial Office, nahitabo ang pinusilay buntag sa Agosto 26, 2024.

Ang kapolisan nag-serve sa warrant of arrest sa dapit batok sa siyam ka mga tawo nga wanted sa pagpatay.

Apan gipamusil sila sa wala mailhing mga armado nga miresulta sa 30-minutos nga pinusilay.

Patay sa hitabo ang isa sa siyam ka mga wanted samtang nasikop sab ang laing isa pa.

Narekober gikan sa engkwentro ang isa ka M1 Garand rifle, isa ka improvised sniper rifle, isa ka 12-gauge shotgun, ug lain-laing mga bala. (Omar Rashid Z. Abdullah)

P29K worth of marijuana plants uprooted in Valencia

MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon – A total of 295 marijuana plants were uprooted in the hinterlands of Sitio Migtulod, Brgy. Mt. Nebo, Valencia City, Bukidnon, on August 21, 2024

BUK-PDEU personnel worked alongside Buk-PIU, Valencia CPS, and PDEA Bukidnon to uproot the marijuana plants.

The Bukidnon Police Provincial Office (BPPO) said that the uprooted marijuana plants weigh approximately 7.8 kilograms and had a market worth of ₱ 59,000.00 (₱ 200/hill).

The uprooted plants were destroyed and burned at the scene in the presence of witnesses.

Samples of the uprooted marijuana plants were sent to the Valencia City Police Station for documentation and then turned over to the PNP Provincial Forensic Unit in Malaybalay City for laboratory testing. (melbmadera)

Bukidnon cop chief relieved

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — The head of the Bukidnon police has been relieved from his post

Col. Reynante Reyes’ relief is effective April 15 as ordered by Northern Mindanao police director Brig. Gen. Lawrence Coop.

Col. Danildo Tumanda was named Bukidnon police officer-in-charge.

Maj. Joann Navarro, Northern Mindanao police spokesperson, said Reyes was relieved from his post amid an investigation he is facing due to complaints coursed through Malacañang’s Citizens’ Complaint Hotline 8888.

Navarro said among the complaints is that the police official goes on foreign trips without filing a vacation leave. (Philstar.net)

Bukidnon police nab 3 ‘most wanted’ murder, rape suspects

TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental (Jan. 18/PNA) – Police units in Bukidnon have arrested three “most wanted” suspects facing separate murder and rape charges.

In separate interviews on Tuesday, Maj. Kevin Bangsoy, the Baungon municipal police acting police chief, reported the arrest of Julieto Gempisaw, the second most wanted person (MWP) in the region, with a warrant from Presiding Judge Jose Yamut of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 11.

Gempisaw was arrested on January 16, around 5 a.m. in Barangay Mabunga, Baungon town, Bukidnon.

Bangsoy said Gempisaw, 48, a laborer, has a pending murder case for allegedly killing Reneboy Cole, 19, a member of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit, on Mar. 25, 2014.

Gempisaw was also the fourth MWP at the provincial level and the top at the municipal level.

Also on January 16, the Manolo Fortich municipal police arrested Jimboy Libres, 30, the Top 1 MWP at the municipal level, also for a murder case pending at the RTC Branch 11.

Maj. Carlito Chua, the Manolo Fortich station commander, said Libres, a farmer, was apprehended in Sitio Pulog, Barangay San Miguel.

Libres is the principal suspect in the death of Mario Fabrigas, 61, on Aug. 21, 2021, in Barangay Maluko.

The police report said the victim was fixing his fence when he was allegedly shot several times on his chest by the suspect over a land dispute.

Meanwhile, Edrin Mark Mamahon, 21, was arrested for rape. He was considered as the Top 7 MWP in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

Lt. Col. Richie Salva, the Valencia City police station commander, said Mamahon, 21, a farmer, was arrested based on the warrant of arrest from RTC Branch 8 presided by Judge Isobel Barroso.

“The accused (Mamahon) is the stepbrother of the 14-year-old victim who threatened to kill her (victim) [including] her mother if she will report to authorities,” he said.
