KITAOTAO, Bukidnon — The Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 10 (DA-10)
continued the distribution of cash assistance under the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and
Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP) to rice and corn farmers in Kitaotao, Bukidnon on Aug. 19, 2026

In a statement, the DA said a total of 2,063 small-scale rice and corn farmers from the
municipality received P2,325 each in cash assistance after being identified and verified through
the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA).
The assistance forms part of the government’s continuing efforts to provide immediate support to
farmers and help cushion the impact of production costs on their livelihood.
The PAFFP is being implemented as part of the government’s broader agricultural support
initiatives under the “Para sa Masaganang Bagong Pilipinas” vision, with the DA-10 continuing

to work with LGUs and other stakeholders in delivering assistance to farmers and fisherfolk
across the region.
The Kitaotao distribution is among the continuing efforts of the DA-10 to extend government
assistance to qualified agricultural workers and strengthen support for the region’s food
producers. (melbmadera)
