CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (August 26, 2025, 7:07 p.m.) – The Department of the Interior and Local Government in Northern Mindanao (DILG-10) is working to create a centralized system to support local government units (LGUs) by developing infra-learning hubs

During a radio interview on Tuesday, DILG-10 director Bruce Colao said the Local Infrastructure Learning Hubs (LILHubs) will function as a repository for LGUs, where DILG officers can connect with other agencies and organizations.

“We can soon provide capacitation based on their demands and needs, as we bridge them to other concerned agencies,” he said.

Colao said the LILHub is the creation of the agreement that the DILG-10 signed with other government agencies and learning institutions in the region.

Once launched, Colao said he expects LGU officials to use the resources to help them with the development and implementation of their policies while enhancing their governance. (Nef Luczon/PNA)
