Malaybalay wins Bukidnon Tourism Video Contest 2025

MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon – Malaybalay City proudly claimed the top spot in the highly anticipated Tourism Promotional Video Contest 2025, a marquee event of the Provincial Tourism Office’s Tourism Week Celebration

The announcement was made during the Convocation Program of the Provincial Government of Bukidnon, held on October 6, 2025, at the Kaamulan Open Theatre in Malaybalay City, where local officials, creatives, and community members gathered to celebrate the province’s vibrant tourism initiatives.

 

The winning video highlighted Malaybalay’s breathtaking natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm, welcoming community—captivating the judges with its creative storytelling and authentic portrayal of the city’s tourism brand, “SAKA ta Malaybalay.”

 

The contest drew entries from municipalities and cities across Bukidnon, showcasing the province’s finest promotional campaigns.

 

According to the official results, the City of Malaybalay emerged as the champion, followed by the Municipality of Kitaotao as 1st Runner-Up, Malitbog as 2nd Runner-Up, Impasugong as 3rd Runner-Up, and Lantapan as 4th Runner-Up.

 

This victory reflects the collective dedication of the Malaybalay City Tourism Office, guided by the steadfast support of City Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran, City Administrator Atty. Anna Marie R. Bergado, local creatives, and the community—partners in championing the city’s tourism potential.
