The first round of barangay veterinary services through the Malaybalay City Veterinary Office conducted

On February 7, 2023, the City Government of Malaybalay, through the City Veterinary Office, started the first round of barangay veterinary services in the identified sites of Barangay San Jose, Malaybalay City

Two teams composed of veterinarians and 11 trained personnel were deployed to serve 96 clients with 155 animals in total, which included 45 cattle, 17 carabaos, 4 goats, 35 horses, 1 pig, and 51 dogs.

The animals were gathered and given free services in eight identified sites: Purok 3 (Sto. Nio), Purok 2 (Acacia), Purok 5 (Near San Jose Furniture Shops), Purok 6 (near rubber plants), Panamucan (Purok 13, 14), and Mabuhay (Purok 10 and Purok 12).

Activities conducted are deworming and vitamin supplementation, pregnancy diagnosis in cattle and carabao, issuance of a Certificate of Ownership of Large Animals, rabies vaccination in dogs (3 months old and above), RSBSA registration, issuance of PCIC insurances for animals, and consultation and treatment. “Oplan Dakip Aso” 2023 sa Malaybalay nagmalampuson

Malamposon nga gipahigayon sa mga miembro sa City Veterinary Office ang Oplan Dakip Aso o pagpangdakop ug iro sa mga kadalanan ning syudad sa Malaybalay. Kini hugot nga gipatuman pinaagi sa City Ordinance 668 subay sa “Animal Welfare Act of 1998” ug “Rabies Act of 2007”

Gipanghingusgan sa syudad agig suporta sa nasangpit nga ordinansa nga ipaabot sa mga katawhan ang “Responsible Pet Ownership” o Responsable nga pagpanag-iya sa mga hayop.

Si City Mayor Jay Warren Pabillaran inubanan sa City Veterinary Office mapahiubsanon nga nagahangyo sa mga katawhan nga adunay mga binuhing hayop sama sa iro nga kini pagahiktan ug dili pasagdan nga maglatagaw sa kadalanan. Gi awhag usab ang mga pet owners nga kini iparehistro ug pabakunahan. (PR)

DSWD mipahigayon og community forum sa SLP sa Malaybalay

Ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) inubanan sa Building Resources Across Communities (BRAC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), ug Australian Aid malampusong nipahigayon sa isa ka community forum kabahin sa Padayon Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) niadtong Enero 17, 2023

Ang lokal nga panggamhanan nisaysay nga tumong sa maong kalihokan nga mapaabot ngadto sa mga gitumbok nga 3rd level o graduating 4Ps beneficiaries ning dakbayan ang mga programa sa ubang ahensiya sama sa Department of Agriculture, City Veterinary Office (CVO), Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Social Security System (SSS), ug PhilHealth, nga makatabang sa pagpalambo sa livelihood assistance nga ilang nadawatan ubos sa Padayon SLP.

Gihanyag usab sa mga lending institutions sama sa Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD) Incorporated, ASA Philippines, ug Cebuana Lhuillier ang ilang mga serbisyo nga makasuporta sa pagpadagan sa nagkadaiyang panginabuhian sa mga benepisyaryo. (Diego M. Hidalgo)
