Pag-implementar sa livelihood program aprobado na sa SP

Giaprobahan na sa Sangguniang Panlungsod ang Resolution Nos. 2023-0283 mao ang Memorandum of Agreement tali sa City Government of Malaybalay ug Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Field Office 10 mahitungod sa pag implementar sa livelihood program

Base sa pahibalo sa lokal nga panggamhanan, kaniadtong Marso 3, 2023, si Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran nag endorso ngadto sa SP uban sa paghangyo nga siya pagatugutan sa pagsulod sa isa ka kasabutan mahitungod sa nasangpit nga programa.

Tumong ug tinguha sa programa nga matabangan og mapalambo ang panginabuhian sa katawhan labi na sa mga kabus dinhi sa dakbayan.

Gi-uyunan usab sa duha ka partido ang uban pang mga termino nga natala sa nasangpit nga kasabutan. (Diego M. Hidalgo)

DSWD prepositions food packs in N. Mindanao with El Niño threat

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Northern Mindanao Region (DSWD-10) prepositioned Friday 34,518 family food packs (FFPs) amounting to PHP23.4 million amid the looming drought-induced El Niño season

In a statement last March 24, the DSWD-10 said the FFPs delivered to local government units (LGUs) in the region as reserved supply in case calamities will occur.

The agency said the FFPs form part of the disaster management protocols for LGUs to provide augmentation to communities and families in need.

The FFPs also serve as an addition to the 400 metric tons or 10,000 bags of milled rice donated by the South Korean government earlier this week.

The donated rice from Korea will be distributed to DSWD offices in the Zamboanga Peninsula, Davao, and Northern Mindanao.

In Northern Mindanao, DSWD-10 Undersecretary for Disaster Response Management Group Marco M. Bautista said the rice supply will be dispensed to the severely affected families by the shear line flooding last year.

“These are not only food donations but donations for life – as they will serve sustenance for families of the victims. Rest assured that this will be given and distributed to the affected families,” he said.

DSWD-10 will distribute the donated rice to 68 of the 112 affected families in Northern Mindanao whose homes were destroyed by the calamity. (Nef Luczon/PNA)

Giaprubahan na sa Sangguniang Panlungsod ang SP Resolution No. 2023-0268 mao ang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) tali sa City Government of Malaybalay ug sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) mahitungod sa supplementary feeding program alang sa mga bata nga anaa sa child development centers.

Base sa pahibalo sa lokal nga panggamhanan, sulod sa maong tahas, pagatutukan ug hatagan og masustansyang pagkaon ang mga bata nga undernourished sa dili moubos sa 120 ka adlaw.

Nauyunan usab ang uban pang mga termino ug kundisyon nga natala sa nasangpit nga MOU. Tungod niini, mas mahatagan ug pagtagad ang mga bata nga anaa sa Child Development Center labi na kadtong mga bata nga kulang sa sustansiya. (Diego M. Hidalgo)

Ang lokal nga panggamhanan nisaysay nga tumong sa maong kalihokan nga mapaabot ngadto sa mga gitumbok nga 3rd level o graduating 4Ps beneficiaries ning dakbayan ang mga programa sa ubang ahensiya sama sa Department of Agriculture, City Veterinary Office (CVO), Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Social Security System (SSS), ug PhilHealth, nga makatabang sa pagpalambo sa livelihood assistance nga ilang nadawatan ubos sa Padayon SLP.
