projects, local officials said

The LandBank Bukidnon Lending Center formally turned over the Notice of Loan Approval
(NOLA) to the Valencia City government on Aug. 10, paving the way for the financing of
several priority projects.
Mayor Amie Galario welcomed the loan approval, which is expected to support the city’s
planned infrastructure and public service development initiatives.
Among the projects to be financed are the construction of a new Valencia City Hall and the
upgrading, rehabilitation and expansion of the Level 1 hospital facility of Valencia City Good
Samaritan General Hospital.
The loan facility will also cover the development of evacuation centers and other community
facilities, rehabilitation of public infrastructure, strategic land acquisition, and the procurement
of heavy equipment, medical equipment and solar lighting systems.
The city government said pre-bid activities for infrastructure projects and bidding processes for
the various procurements are expected to follow, in accordance with government procurement
rules.
The financing forms part of the city government’s efforts under Galario’s administration,
together with the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod led by Vice Mayor Greizl Galario-Fernandez, to
strengthen public infrastructure, health services, disaster preparedness and community facilities.
City officials said the projects are intended to improve the delivery of essential services and
