3 nabbed as authorities dismantle alleged drug den in Malaybalay

MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon – In a decisive strike against the illegal drug trade, anti-
narcotics operatives dismantled an alleged drug den and arrested three suspected drug
personalities during a buy-bust operation on June 12, 2026

The joint operation was spearheaded by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)
Regional Office 10 – Bukidnon Provincial Office, in coordination with the Malaybalay City
Police Station and the Regional Intelligence Unit–Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Team.
At around 3:45 p.m., authorities swooped down on a residence in Purok 17, Block 13, Lot 21,
Landing, Barangay Casisang, where they seized 16 sachets of suspected methamphetamine
hydrochloride (shabu) weighing approximately six grams, with an estimated street value of
₱40,800.
Confiscated items included two smartphones, a black wallet containing a driver’s license,
assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked buy-bust money.
According to PDEA Regional Director Alex M. Tablate, the suspects were identified as alias
“Lulu,” 63, and alias “Lyn,” 33, both residents of Barangay Casisang, along with alias “Gard,”
36, of Barangay 9, Malaybalay City.
The three are now detained at the PDEA-10 detention facility, facing charges for multiple
violations under Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise
known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
In its statement, PDEA-10 reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining intelligence-driven, inter-
agency operations aimed at dismantling drug dens and shielding communities from the
