Miss Barangay Tugaya crowned as Miss Valencia 2023

Miss Barangay Tugaya, Mary Gwyneth Perez has been crowned as Miss Valencia 2023, besting other 18 contestants on the coronation night at Valencia City Gymnasium and Cultural Center, last January 9, 2023.
Based on the LGU’s Bulletin, Mary Gwyneth Perez is an editorial writer, and an honor student during her junior and senior high school years.
She also joined Miss Teen Valencia 2022 and won the third place.
She is expected to represent Valencia City for Laga Ta Bukidnon 2023.
The other candidates who made it to Miss Valencia 2023 Top 5 were: 1st runner up – Natasha Bajuyo, Miss Barangay Batangan; 2nd runner up – Fhamel Castillo Detomal, Miss Barangay Lourdes; 3rd runner up – Unica Carpentero Oro, Miss Barangay Lumbo; and 4th runner up – Kylla Clarece Gubat, Miss Barangay Mabuhay.
