Anti-terrorism forum gipahigayon sa Maramag

Isa ka anti-terrorism forum nga gipangunahan sa 48th Infantry Battalion sa 7th Infantry Division ang gipahigayon sa Maramag Municipal Hall kaniadtong Pebrero 10, 2025.
Katambayayong sa kalihokan ang lokal nga kagamhanan sa Maramag

Sumala sa kasayuran sa LGU Maramag, ang forum nagpundok sa sektor sa negosyo aron matubag ang mga nagpilit nga isyu bahin sa kalinaw, seguridad, ug pagpatuman sa mga balaod nga kontra-terorismo.
Ang mga mahinungdanong presentasyon naglakip sa usa ka panaghisgot bahin sa “paglimbong sa communist terrorist groups ug sibil nga operasyon sa militar,” nga gihan-ay ni Army Captain Rogelio S. Recto, nga nag-counter sa insurgent tactics pinaagi sa community engagement.

21 NPA mitahan sa Malaybalay

Mibalik na sa meanstream society ang 21 ka kanhi miyembro sa New People’s Army (NPA)

Ang grupo matod pa ubos sa Sub-Regional Committee (SRC) 2 sa NPA-Communist Terrorist Group nga kaniadto Guerilla Front 89.

Sumala sa kasayoran sa Facebook Page ni Malaybalay City Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran, mitahan sila kaniadtong Enero 21, 2024.

Gidawat sila ni Mayor Pabillaran inubanan usab sa tropa sa Regional Intelligence Unit sa PNP 10 ug 1003rd Battalion ug pakigtimbayayong sa 48IB ug sa atong mga kaigsuonang lumad.

Ang Gobyerno padayon nga nanawagan sa mga rebelde nga mosurender ug magsugod og bag-ong kinabuhi.

Kahinumdoman nga nagpabilin pa sa impluwensya sa NPA ang pipila ka mga barangay sa Malaybalay.

Mangani, niadtong Disyembre 25, 2023, napulo ka mga miyembro sa NPA ang napatay sa pag-atake sa military sa hilit nga bahin sa Sityo Kiito sa Barangay Can-ayan sa Dakbayan. (melbmadera)

Military seizes firearms, war materials in Quezon

MALAYBALAY CITY (Jan. 07, 2024) – Personnel from the 1003rd Infantry (Raptor) Brigade of the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division (10ID) successfully seized three high-powered rifles and several war materials from the New People’s Army (NPA) during an armed encounter on January 5, 2024, at Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Cawayan, Quezon, Bukidnon

According to the 1003rd IB, the captured items included three M16 rifles, two magazines with ammunition, eight backpacks, medical paraphernalia, food supplies, clothing, other war materials, and subversive documents.

After conducting a focused military operation in the area, the 1003rd IB, led by Brig. General Marion T. Angcao, retrieved the aforementioned materials.

The said items were owned by the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG), specifically the Sub-Regional Sentro De Grabidad (SRSDG) Peddler of NPA’s North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC).

The 10ID commander, Brig. General Allan D. Hambala, reiterates his plea for the remaining members of the CTG, notably in Bukidnon province, to surrender.

“The 10ID conducts military operations through the legitimate use of force against the CTG, ensuring the safety and well-being of the people. Nevertheless, the 10ID remains open to accepting Communist NPA Terrorists willing to lay down their arms and reintegrate into the folds of the law,” Hambala said. (melbmadera)
